Green Day Pedometer is a fitness application designed specifically for various iPhone models, including the iPhone 5S through iPhone 7 Plus, as well as the iPod Touch (6th generation), aiming to support users in achieving a daily step target of 10,000 steps. For those with an Apple Watch, progress can also be monitored conveniently on this device.
The app utilizes a color-coded progress indicator: red signifies that you are less than halfway to your goal, yellow suggests you are nearing completion, and green indicates that the goal has been successfully met. This visual representation allows for quick assessment of performance throughout the day.
In addition to tracking current steps, the history view feature empowers users to maintain an average step count above their daily goal. A consistently high blue line in the history view reflects positive trends; however, users should be cautious of 'red days' which can negatively impact overall averages.
Green Day Pedometer incorporates a 24-hour clock format for time display, enhancing clarity on remaining hours in the day. By utilizing your approximate location, it also provides precise sunrise and sunset times, aiding in maximizing daylight during all seasons.

To display your step count accurately, Green Day Pedometer requires access to Motion & Fitness data. It is important to note that location data is not tracked or logged by the app, ensuring user privacy. Location services are only employed to provide approximate sunrise and sunset times, with minimal battery impact.
If users wish to share their progress through photos, access to the Photos app is requested but not mandatory. Additionally, step history can be accessed via settings adjustments within the Health app.
Your personal information remains secure as no data is transmitted without explicit consent.
